PECOS through the WIKI help  In the top right hand corner of the PECOS Home Page but I have asked the SG if there is any more information.

Nicola Fobister 09/03/20:

Dave Paterson from the Service Management team has provided me with the following accessibility information, which Elcom are continually working towards full WCAG compliance for PECOS.

Each set of Release Notes carries an update on what has been changed within each version . The attempts at compliance started in 2014 with version 12.1 : -

2.4 WCAG 2.0 Compliance

The World Wide Web Consortium has published the WCAG guidelines for making web-based products accessible to users with disabilities. Elcom introduced non-functional, minor html code changes in the Procurement module of PECOS 12.1 to contribute towards WCAG 2.0

Each time additional changes are added they are documented within  the release notes

V16 release notes :-

2.7     WCAG 2.0 Compliance

We have undertaken some non-functional, minor html code changes to contribute towards our commitment to meet full WCAG (Web Content Accessibility Guidelines) 2.0 Level A compliance. These enhancements make the PECOS P2P web pages more usable for web client applications that disabled users would utilise in place of a browser.

CSS is updated to make it compliant for read only text: for text area and selection, making font and background contrast high. Examples may be found in a number of procurement (e.g. Blanket Order Policy and Add Non-Catalogue Item) and administration (e.g. Organisation Maintenance and User Profile) screens across the application where read only fields exist.

Given full compliance is almost impossible to achieve as the stipulations are an ever evolving criteria, Elcom have undertaken to review each release against the latest WCAG guidelines and wherever possible make the required enhancements.
